City of Flowers
Romina Albizzi is the exiled wife of Fastello Tozzi. Distant cousin to the Rinaldo degli Albizzi, she did something to upset him and was exiled to Padua a few years ago. Her husband was able to return to Florence and worked on getting her back. She sent him regular letters professing her love. After a while the letters expressed fear she had for her life and her desperation to get back to Florence and be with her husband where she’d be safe. The way back? 5 million florins would help her family gain power over the deMedici’s and in return they would lift her exile.
No letters more resent than 6 months were found in her husband’s apartment.
